Bungie releases Marathon 2: Durandal Remaster on Steam — the project is available for free

Bungie studio has released a remaster of Marathon 2: Durandal on Steam — the game is named Classic Marathon 2. Like the remaster of original shooter, the project can be added to the library for free.

The remaster has several important technical improvements: for example, the shooter has acquired support for widescreen monitors and 60 FPS. If you want to play the original project without modern capabilities, you can switch to this version directly from Classic Marathon 2.

The shooter is available in versions for Windows and macOS. By the end of this year, Bungie is planning to release a remaster of the third part of the series, Marathon Infinity.
