Bloober Team is developing a Silent Hill remake

Konami has announced the development of a remake of the first Silent Hill: as in the case of the reimagining of Silent Hill 2, the project will be developed by Bloober Team.

The original game was released in 1999 and earned a cult status among horror fans. The release date, gameplay details, as well as the technologies used in the development, have not yet been disclosed.

The Silent Hill 2 remake was released last fall on consoles and PC and earned rave reviews from both critics and players. The project sold more than 2 million copies.
