Bend Studio employee denies development of Days Gone 2

Bend Studio community manager Kevin McAllister has spoken out about the potential release of a Days Gone sequel: according to him, the studio is not working on a second part, despite the fact that there are many rumors about it in the web.

According to McAllister, such rumors are spread by people in pursuit of hype, distorting the words of former Bend Studio employees. The developer noted that these rumors put the team in an awkward position, because the company has been working on a new project for several years with no connection to Days Gone.

According to some reports, Bend Studio is working on a new open-world project, which will indeed feature some improved systems from Days Gone, but the game is a completely new IP and will not be related to the zombie action.
