Back 4 Blood May Get a Sequel

The not very successful co-op shooter Back 4 Blood may get a sequel — this was indicated by the resume of one of the motion capture actors for the original project.

Jess Hutch, who participated in the motion capture for the original game, mentioned the Gobi 2 project in his track record, while the working title “Gobi” was originally assigned to Back 4 Blood. In addition, Turtle Rock studio continues to support the back4blood2.com domain, which may also indicate the developers’ desire to continue the franchise.

The original Back 4 Blood was released on PC and two generations of Xbox and PlayStation in 2021. The project received three content updates, and its support ended in 2023.
