Arrowhead has no plans for Helldivers 3

Arrowhead’s head Shams Giordani clarified the situation regarding a potential Helldivers 3 in the studio’s Discord channel. Rumors of a third game in development arose due to the developers’ stipulation that a social hub would appear in the “next part” of Helldivers.

Giordani stated that the studio has no plans for a next game; Arrowhead wants to develop Helldivers 2 for as long as possible. Giordani noted that the studio is supported by PlayStation in this endeavor, and that the developers will be able to implement such long-term support if they resolve workflow and performance issues.

Helldivers 2 is available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X.
