An hour of gameplay from the Gothic remake

An hour-long recording of the gameplay from the Gothic remake has appeared on YouTube — the footage was recorded from the public demo version brought to Gamescom 2024.

In the video, you can evaluate the combat system, as well as observe more peaceful activities such as fishing, hunting and swimming. The video also allows you to study the in-game interface and dialogue system — however, these elements, like the combat, may undergo significant changes by the release.

The Gothic remake is being developed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. The project is scheduled for release in 2024.
