Akira Yamaoka wants to work on Resident Evil

Akira Yamaoka, the composer of the Silent Hill series, gave an interview to the team of the DarkSwitch project, for which the musician also wrote the music. The developers, among other things, asked Yamaoka about the game he would like to work on.
It turned out that the composer is a long-time fan of the Resident Evil series. According to Yamaoka, he played a lot of games of the franchise, and he would like to work on a project in the famous horror universe.
Despite belonging to the same genre, Silent Hill and Resident Evil are exploring different aspects of horror. The next part of Silent Hill with the subtitle f will be released on September 25, and Resident Evil Requiem will be released on February 27, 2026.
