A new wave of layoffs in Striking Distance

A new wave of layoffs has occurred at the Striking Distance (The Callisto Protocol). According to the LinkedIn pages of former employees, several dozen people have lost their jobs, but the exact scale of the layoffs is unknown.
The studio’s problems began after the release of The Callisto Protocol: the horror showed weak sales, which disappointed both the studio and the Krafton publisher. As a result, the company lost more than 30 employees, including the project’s game director Glen Schofield, also responsible for the Dead Space series.
At the end of 2024, Striking Distance released the roguelite action [REDACTED] in The Callisto Protocol universe, which earned positive reviews from players. However, judging by the new wave of layoffs, the project did not achieve financial success either.
