4A Games: the next Metro is a grim game touching on political themes

The other day, the Metro shooter series turned 15 years old — in honor of this, the developers from 4A Games published a congratulatory message in which they thanked the players for their support and shared a few information about the next part of the franchise.

In particular, the studio noted that the games in the series have always discussed political topics, and the new project will be no exception — the authors promise to tell a dark and complex story with a political subtext. According to the developers, more than 200 people are currently working on the title.

The latest game in the main line of shooters, Metro Exodus, was released on PC, Xbox One and PS4 in 2019. Last year, the VR project Metro Awakening was released, which is a prequel to Metro 2033.
